Detailed 1/72 scale assembly model kit of a fictional scenario depicting a Focke Wulf Ta 154 and a Focke Wulf Fw 190A-6 specially fitted to perform a "Mistel" ("Mistletoe") Mission. Mistel scheme involved attaching a medium bomber (usually a Ju 88 variant) specially fitted with an immense shaped charge fitted in its nose compartment to a fighter aircraft (usually an Fw 190 variant). During a Mistel Mission, the piloted fighter aircraft, which is mounted on top of the bomber, guide the bomber to the intended target and release its payload as one massive flying bomb. Mistel missions involving a Ta 154 were planned by the Luftwaffe but never carried out. This Airfix 1/72 scale assembly kit features 111 parts.

Detailed 1/72 scale assembly model kit of the Curtiss SB2C Helldiver, a World War II era carrier-based dive bomber aircraft operated by the United States Navy. The SB2C Helldiver was developed to replace the Douglas SBD Dauntless, then the primary carrier-based dive bomber in U.S. Navy service. The SB2C Helldiver was a large aircraft capable of carrying a wide variety of ordnances. The SB2C features an internal bomb bay and can operate from the latest aircraft carriers of the time. The bulky size and appearance coupled with early design problems made the Curtiss SB2C unpopular with pilots initially, and the type was given unflattering nicknames such as the "Big-Tailed Beast", "Two-Cee", and "Son-of-a-Bitch 2nd Class" by pilots and ground crews. Design problems with the Helldiver were largely solved by the time the SB2C-4 made its appearance and pilots and crew begun to appreciate the added speed, range, and bomb load offered by SB2C. More than 7,000 SB2C Helldivers rolled out of production lines, and the type remained in service until the end of the war.
